Get started with Rankvia
Rankvia starts with your website. It analyzes the business and existing content, builds the context it needs for planning, and turns search opportunities into a Content Calendar of pages to create or improve.
This guide takes you from adding your website to your first Rankvia content workflow.
Using Rankvia through Shopify?
Start with the Shopify getting-started guide so Rankvia begins with the correct Shopify store context.
1. Add the website you want to grow
Start by entering the website Rankvia should analyze and manage. Rankvia planning is website-specific, so use the website you want the Business Profile, Content Calendar, and generated content to belong to.
You can add other websites separately. Each website has its own Rankvia planning context.
2. Let Rankvia understand the website
Rankvia analyzes relevant public pages across the site to build the business and website context needed for search planning. This includes the business identity, existing pages, products or offers, audience signals, topics, positioning, and conversion context.
Keep the analysis running until Rankvia confirms that the website understanding is ready.
Learn how website analysis worksWhy Rankvia analyzes the website first
Rankvia doesn't start from an isolated keyword. Website analysis gives it the context needed to decide what the business should create or improve.

3. Review your Business Profile
After analysis, Rankvia organizes the business context it found into the Business Profile. Review the important information before relying on it for planning.
Check Business Details, Audience & Voice, Products & Offers, and Competitors. Correct anything materially wrong or incomplete-you don't need to rewrite every field before continuing.

Business / brand
Is Rankvia identifying the actual business rather than one product or feature?
Products or offers
Are the important products, services, or offers represented correctly?
Audience
Does the intended customer make sense?
Competitors
Are the confirmed competitors genuinely relevant?
4. Build your Content Calendar
Rankvia combines the Business Profile, existing website, search research, and supported connected search evidence to prioritize opportunities for the site. The Content Calendar turns those opportunities into an actionable plan of pages to create and existing pages to improve.
Learn how the Content Calendar worksNot every opportunity needs a new page
Rankvia can recommend improving an existing page when that page is already the better owner for the opportunity.
Optional: add Google Search Console evidence
Google Search Console is not required to use Rankvia. When connected, Rankvia can use supported first-party Google search evidence alongside its existing website and search analysis.
If you already have a Content Calendar, use the supported flow for keeping it or rebuilding it with the additional Search Console evidence.
5. Open an opportunity from the Content Calendar
Choose an opportunity you want to work on and open it to see Rankvia's recommended action and planning. Depending on the opportunity, you may see the topic, Create or Improve recommendation, an existing-page target, schedule or status, and available instructions.
6. Review the Page Plan
Before content is generated, Rankvia creates a Page Plan describing what the page should accomplish and how it should approach the opportunity. Review the target need, Create or Improve action, page type, structure, existing-page target where relevant, internal-link context, and business context.
Learn about Page Plans7. Generate the content
When the Page Plan looks right, generate the content. Rankvia uses the plan together with the Business Profile, website context, and relevant search research to create the finished draft.
Generation is the execution of the Page Plan-not a separate blank-prompt writing workflow. When the content workflow includes a generated image, Rankvia prepares it as part of the content process.
Learn about generating content8. Review the finished content
If your workflow uses review-first publishing, review the generated content before sending it to the final destination. Check the title, main content, important business and product context, internal links, featured image when present, and publishing destination details.
If the result reflects incorrect Business Profile or Page Plan context, correct the underlying information rather than repeatedly regenerating without addressing the source.
9. Publish when you're ready
Send content after review to the publishing destination available for the website. WordPress and Shopify are supported publishing destinations. Automatic publishing sends eligible scheduled content through the supported workflow only when it has been explicitly enabled.
Review before publishing
Review finished content and send it when you are ready.
Automatic publishing
Eligible scheduled content can continue only after the supported workflow is enabled.
