Use Rankvia with Shopify
The Rankvia Shopify app gives your store access to the Rankvia search-growth workflow, including website analysis, Business Profile, Content Calendar, Page Plans, content generation, and Shopify publishing.
If your Rankvia subscription starts through Shopify, Shopify manages the subscription and billing relationship for that store.

What you can do with Rankvia for Shopify
Website analysis
Rankvia analyzes the website associated with the store and builds context for planning.
Business Profile
Review the business, offers, audience, positioning, and relevant context.
Content Calendar
Review prioritized search opportunities and what Rankvia recommends creating or improving.
Page Plans
Review the search goal and page strategy before generating content.
Generate content
Create finished content using the Business Profile, Page Plan, and search context.
Publishing
Review content first or use automatic publishing when Shopify is the selected destination.
The Shopify app uses the same Rankvia workspace for your store
Opening Rankvia through Shopify does not create a separate SEO tool or a separate content workspace. The store website, Business Profile, Content Calendar, generated content, publishing state, and Shopify billing context remain part of the same Rankvia experience.
You can continue working with the same store website when moving between the Shopify app and Rankvia on the web.
Publishing back to Shopify
Once content is ready, Shopify can act as the publishing destination for the connected store. Rankvia supports Shopify articles and pages; articles use the selected Shopify blog.
Review before publishing
Keep finished content in Rankvia until you are ready to send it to Shopify.
Automatic publishing
When enabled and Shopify is selected, eligible scheduled content can continue automatically.
Draft or live
Content can be created as a Shopify draft or published live, depending on the selected action.
Sent to Shopify vs publicly live
Content can already have been sent to Shopify even when it was created there as a draft. Rankvia keeps the Shopify publication state associated with the content, so you can distinguish content that has been transferred from content that has not yet been sent to Shopify.
Plans and billing through Shopify
When your Rankvia subscription is managed through Shopify, plan charges and subscription changes follow the Shopify billing flow.
Upgrade
Choose a higher Rankvia plan through the Shopify-managed upgrade flow.
Downgrade
A lower plan can be scheduled for the end of the current billing period while the current higher plan remains active until then.
Cancel
Cancellation follows the Shopify-managed subscription lifecycle.
If Shopify manages the subscription, use Shopify as the billing source of truth even when you access Rankvia on the web.
Shopify permissions used by Rankvia
Rankvia requests Shopify permissions required for supported content and publishing workflows.
Rankvia uses Shopify access for
- Discovering available Shopify blogs
- Reading relevant Shopify content
- Creating and updating articles and pages
- Attaching article media and reading publication state
Rankvia does not use it for
- Processing orders or charges
- Editing customer records
- Changing inventory
- Editing themes or storefront settings
If you uninstall the Shopify app
Uninstalling Rankvia disconnects Shopify publishing access. Content already published to Shopify is not automatically removed from the store. Reinstalling the same store can reconcile its existing publishing destination and retain publication history.
